WordCamp Manchester takes place at Whitworth Locke, right in the heart of the city centre, so you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to somewhere to sleep. Everything from budget chains to boutique hotels sits within a ten-minute walk of the venue, and Manchester’s tram and bus network means anywhere in the city centre is easy to get to and from.

The venue itself is an aparthotel, so if you’d like to roll out of bed and into the event, Whitworth Locke is the obvious choice. Otherwise, the hotels around Princess Street, Portland Street and Piccadilly station are all close, well priced and a short stroll away.

One tip: Manchester hotel prices jump sharply when there’s a football match or a big arena gig in town, so book as early as you can.

We’ve been able to secure a number of preferential rate rooms at Whitworth Locke for 2 night stays of 5th-7th November, at a price of £138 (VAT included) per night. This is a room only rate, with breakfast available from £15 per person per room.
